F A Q

What is integrative medicine?

Integrative medicine is an approach to health care that aims to integrate conventional medicine with alternative therapies such as naturopathy, acupuncture, chiropractic, nutrition, meditation, art therapy and other non-conventional health approaches.

It seeks to treat the whole person, taking into account physical, emotional, mental, social and spiritual aspects.

This approach to health emphasizes disease prevention, health promotion, holistic healing and reducing the side-effects of conventional medical treatments.

Integrative medicine is often practised by health professionals trained in conventional medicine, as well as in alternative therapies . Their aim is to take into consideration the full range of techniques available, whatever their origins, and to select from these different approaches those best suited to treating the patient.

How are experts selected?

Our experts are selected according to precise criteria. They have a degree in psychology or medicine and specialize in integrative medicine. They all have at least 5 to 10 years' experience and are fully conversant with scientifically proven therapeutic tools and methods. We also have a code of ethics that enables us to accurately select the best experts.

Why choose to work with Weeal?

Our vision is to give your employees back control over their well-being by enabling them to get to know their bodies, including their emotions, their minds and how they function. We teach them how to detect, prevent and cure the various risks and disorders that could affect them. To meet this preventive need, there's nothing better than integrative medicine. That's why we're convinced that integrative medicine is the future of well-being, and more precisely, the art of caring for the whole human being.

Our aim is to improve the health of your employees' bodies and minds, so that we can better understand what ails each of them. We won't focus solely on symptoms, as is the case in conventional Western medicine, known as allopathic medicine, but we seek to combine the two approaches (conventional and non-conventional) because we want to care for the individual as a whole, taking into account his or her 6 different planes:

Physical health
Mental health
Emotional health
Socio-cultural health
Environmental health
Spiritual health

In our view, this approach is the best one for preventive purposes, and scientific studies prove it.

What are mental and physical health?

Mental health refers to an individual's psychological and emotional state, affecting the way they think, feel and act.

It involves a positive balance between the emotional, psychological and social aspects of life. Good mental health enables us to face life's challenges, manage stress, maintain healthy relationships and develop our potential. It's not just the absence of mental disorders, but overall well-being.

Factors such as life experiences, social support and environment influence mental health. If difficulties arise, consulting a mental health professional is essential for appropriate support and care.

In addition, corporate physical health concerns the physical well-being of employees in the workplace.

It aims to promote safe and healthy working conditions, prevent work-related injuries and illnesses, and encourage a healthy lifestyle.

Corporate physical health helps to improve productivity, reduce absenteeism, and create a work environment conducive to employees' overall health.

How much does Weeal cost?

For the employer

Our corporate customers don't pay for access to the app, but pay a fixed monthly subscription to the HR Dashboard, which gives you anonymous, accurate data on employee use of the app.

In addition, you pay for a pack of group sessions with our experts. Two packs are available, the first on Psycho-Social Risks and the second on Musculoskeletal Disorders. You can choose the one that best suits your needs, or combine the two, then we build the program together with several interventions on the subjects that are most important with our integrative medicine experts on which we bring more depth and therefore results over the long term.

‍Foremployees

‍The
employer pays for the first four individual sessions. The employee therefore does not need to pay anything for these initial sessions. Once the four sessions have been completed, the employee can continue their therapeutic follow-up with the practitioner. These sessions, however, are at the employee's expense and at the usual rate.

What are the main topics covered?

The main themes covered in individual and group sessions are:

Stress and anxiety
Depression
Burn-out
Self-confidence
Emotional shocks
Back pain
Managing and understanding emotions
Addictions
